For many years the Village Church in Khandallah has, through the generosity of its parish, been able to regularly give non-perishable food donations to St Anne’s Pantry, a food bank supporting the many needy families in the Porirua area.

A special effort is made at our Harvest Thanksgiving Service and our Christmas Service when members are asked to bring something ‘extra’ to fill the food basket. Children are not forgotten at Christmas. New toys are collected and sent out to Porirua along with the food collection.

Sadly, the need is still great so we continue with our giving each week.
